Alex Manoni, Winemaker/General Manager
Alex’s responsibilities as the Winemaker include coordinating all aspects of the production, cellar work, bottling, fruit purchase and evaluation. As the winemaker, Alex coordinates the quality assurance, product testing and evaluation, grading of the wine for the Reserve program. Alex has had the wine making bug since the earliest days when at holidays Uncle Pasquale and Dad would hand out glasses of watered down Dago Red.
Prior to opening Stomani Cellars, Alex had been an amateur winemaker for many years. During this time Alex has won numerous medals for wines entered into competitions throughout the USA. Alex is a Certified Enologist from Washington State University.
Sandi Stothers, Cellar Rat and All Around Sweeper Upper
Sandi has one of the most important jobs in the winery, Cellar Rat. She provides all the support for the winemaker, and helps keep the visitors happy. As the winery grows, she will be responsible for managing the wine club and other mailing lists. Sandi has owned a catering business, and holds degrees from University of Washington, and Central Washington University.
Mike Stothers, Business Management Consultant
Mike’s responsibilities as the Business Management Consultant include oversight of the business to ensure we stay tracked to the plan and goals. Mike lends a solid palate to our sensory board. Mike has completed his MBA from UCLA and will lend valuable insight into the business operations.
Abi Manoni, All Around Helper and Cellar Rat
Abi loves helping out with all the production aspects of the winery. Though she really doesn't like all the cleaning we do. Abi is currently in Middle School, with plans to go to High School this fall.
